P. Ramakrishnan certified and registered Pediatric Occupational Therapist from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G.R. Medical University, Chennai with a Masters in paediatrics occupational therapy; he has been active and working with children with Special Needs for around 17 years.

He works for children with specific needs who faces challenges within their home, social situation or school to enable them to become more independent with activities of daily living.

He has served as the Head of the Department at various rehabilitation centers for over 10 years. He has also contributed as research assistant for various research projects and he shows avid interest in teaching and has served as visiting professor for various rehabilitation institutes and courses. He served as an Invited speaker and Resource person at various programs, meetings, public forums and media. He has also participated in many general health camps, awareness/screening camps in various schools and special schools in and around Tamil Nadu. He has done many projects/dissertations, paper presentations and has attended several national and international conferences and workshops.

He is an effective team worker and a good listener. He has abundance of experience working with Pediatrician, Clinical Psychologist, Speech Therapist, physiotherapists, Special educators, Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineers.
